POLENASTICS ESPAÑA - POLE DANCE & FITNESS CLASSES
Hello, my name is Christine an I am a pole fitness instructor. I have recently started classes in and around the Torrevieja area.
Pole dance & pole fitness is a great way to Get fit, meet wonderful people, learn a skill, have fun, sculpt your physique, tone up, build your confidence and much much more.
CLASSES ARE CURRENTLY RUNNING ON:
WEDNESDAY 6pm at the "Gym & Fitness Center" Torrevieja (near the aqua park)
(Classes here are 6€ for the hour here)
FRIDAY 11:30am-12:30pm & 12:30pm-1:30pm at the "FIT4ALL" gym on the Punta prima roundabout
(Classes here are 6€ per each hour or 10€ for both class at FIT4ALL)
WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A POLE DANCE & FITNESS CLASS:
Each Polenastics pole fitness and dance class is generally 1 hour long, and includes a warm up and cool down, pole moves, tricks & floor work. You will also have the chance to learn and perfect pole dance routines, posture and walking exercises.
As a beginner, after an initial introductory chat with your Polenastics pole fitness and dance instructor, (where I will need to know of any injuries or illnesses, your ability, concerns and expectations), you will be put on a pole with either 3 or 4 other ladies of similar ability. You will then be shown some basic pole dance moves and linking sequences which you will practice with your pole buddies. If you are more advanced and have pole experience previously, please let us know when you book in and we can ensure that you are put on a pole with students around the same level.

PAELLA IN THE PARK
Just found this posted on Catral life,by KIDA seems like a great way to spend Saturday.
Hi guys, thought I would let you all know about the paella in the park party on Saturday in Catral. Its a huge paella competition and you can taste as much as you want for free. This is a huge event for Catral with free drinks to wash it all down. They set up in the morning and are usually ready to eat about 12 ish. Lets hope the weather stays good.
Sorry I can not tell you where it is but Catral is a small place and if its that big an advent it will not be hard to find. We are just going to head to Catral and am sure we will find it. Look for a park.
Well that was a waste of time! We got told by someone it was not until the 1st May!!!

Thanks for letting us know we have family arrived today, they have not been to Spain before, what a great way to introduce them to Spanish life. And what a bonus that its free as we are all on a budget at the moment.
I have just arrived in Spain and see on one of the other sites that people went to this event last weekend but it was not on. Can I confirm that I have not missed this event and that it is on this weekend.
THE WOK ROYAL
Just come back from the Wok Royal opp. Mercadona......and wont be going back.
Myself & husband & our 2 small children, buffet & soft drink each, bill €50!
Food had been there for hours, it was dried, lukewarm & everything tasted of fish! Really horrible meal, very poor quality & un-helpful staff, they were not interested in our complaints.
We will be sticking to Wok Buffet in Doña Pepa!
The Wok Royal is a total rip-off!

I agree with you 100%. We have been round all the Wok places and were keen to try this one as we thought for the extra money they charged it must be good. But you sum up our thoughts. Never again
I'm surprised, I've been twice and it's been really good, and this is said from someone who doesn't like Woks at all really. Maz
Its crap
12.99 when all the others are 7.99 and the only thing you get extra is the very bad service.
Its Pona Pepa for us every time, the food is great and the staff wonderful. Did you know the girls work 12 hours per day and they always have a smile for you, so tip well please.

WHY do we feel we HAVE to pay & moan after we've been 'had' like this. My OH & I are the same. We should all complain & say we're not paying.
I've never been to a WOK other than twice to the one behind Haberneras in Torrevieja & the 1st time was unbelievably good but the 2nd time was terrible.
With Chinese restaurants we go to giving us 3 course meals for around 5-6€ with a bottle of wine between the two of us included I think WOKs are very overpriced.
We go to a Chinese in Guardamar by Dompte's on the road where Mercadona & Lidl's are. It has the strangest name Zhong Hiu, smallish & often busy. Excellent food & value.
Couldn't agree more - The Royal Wok is over priced, the food second rate, and we won't go back.
Agree totally that the one next to Consum is excellent. Our granddaughter has coeliac disease and even Soya sauce contains the gluten to which she is allergic. So we took a gluten-free soya with us and they made her a special meal without any fuss or extra charge. Charming staff and excellent value.

JUST ARRIVED
I have just landed from Sunny U.K and am trying to find out the best place to spend the wedding day in Friday, I know that there is a party going on in Quesada but its a bit far for me to go. Is there anything going on in Torrevieja or not far away from the town. I do not want to miss this very special day for my country
Went to the parade on Thursday... its was lovely.. Lots of kids in the parade giving out sweets... def gooing again next year
