Area : Urracál is a small, friendly, typically Spanish, picturesque village with a butcher, chemist, bakery, Town Hall, church, small Supermarket and two Bars. Olula is a larger town with a once a week market, large supermarkets, Emergency Health Centre, Police Station and multitude of small shops plus Banks and Post Office. Urracál, is in a very picturesque and tranquil area of the Almanzora Valley, surrounded by many National Parks and protected areas. It is equally well placed for access to the coast and inland areas alike. Mojacar on the coast is some 45minutes away but with the new road system being developed in the Almanzora Valley, this should reduce travel time to the coast and Inland access to Motorway networks. The inland city of Granada and its associated skiing resorts plus internationally noted Alhambra Palace is less than an hour and a half away.
